Tubby the Tuba is friendly character who wants a chance to play the “Pretty Tune”, rather than his same old “oom-pah.”  When the other instruments make fun of him, he meets some different friends who teach him a new song! Further exploring the instruments, the WVSO will perform Benjamin Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, where all instruments get their turn at the “pretty tune” before joining to fill the performance hall with the beautiful full sound of symphonic music.
