Composers don’t live in a bubble. They take ideas from other cultures and countries. Dvorak is a composer who leaned on music from different folk music origins, including America. While he hailed from Austria, Mozart wrote an opera in Italian. Marquez, born in Mexico, composed a dance based on Cuban music.
