Young People’s Concert: Boyz in the Wood

Elementary and Middle School Students (recommended for grades K-8).

Back by popular demand, Boyz in the Wood is a composition by our own Maestro Cooper. This special piece re-casts the traditional literary tale of Little Red Riding Hood into a musical story with Little Red Riding Hood as a coloratura soprano and the Wolf as a rap artist.

Wednesday, November 14, 2012 (at the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences WV)

9:45 & 11:35 a.m. each day (concerts last one hour each)

Cost:  $4 per student; for for teachers/chaperones within 10:1 ratio; $4 for any non-students above the 10:1 ratio.

Upon registration, you will receive multimedia CD-ROMs produced by the WVSO to prepare for your concert experience. All materials are correlated with Common Core and 21st Century Standards of WV, OH, & KY.
